Reactions of trichloronitrosomethane

Abstract

Trichloronitrosomethane reacts with silver(I) fluoride to give O-nitrosobistrifluoromethylhydroxylamine, and with silver(I) fluoride in dimethylformamide to give hexafluoroazoxymethane. With sodium fluoride in dimethylformamide it yields dimethyltrifluoromethylamine.
