Equilibration in photochemical systems. The photolysis of a mixture of α-diketones in isopropyl alcohol

Abstract

The photoreduction of mixtures of camphorquinone and tetramethyltetralindione in isopropyl alcohol is independent of initial excitation, on account of equilibration of intermediate semidione radicals.
