Crystal and molecular structure of 2,5-diphenyl-1,4-dithiin 1-oxide

Abstract

The heterocyclic ring of 2,5-diphenyl-1,4-dithiin 1-oxide is arranged in a boat structure (X-ray), the oxygen atom being axial and the sulphoxide group differing in bond distances from the sulphide group.
