Direct nuclear quadrupole resonance evidence for vanadium–halogen bonding in vanadium trihalide hexahydrates
Abstract
The nuclear quadrupole resonance spectra of VCl3,6H2O and VBr3,6H2O show frequencies characteristic of metal-bonded halogen nuclei.
