Carbon compounds of the transition metals. Part XVII. Crystal structure of [methoxy(methyl)carbene]triphenylphosphinetetracarbonylchromium
Abstract
The solid state structure of [methoxy(methyl)carbene]triphenylphosphinetetracarbonylchromium shows it to be a distorted octahedral complex of chromium with the triphenylphosphine and carbene ligands in cis-positions. The structure is compared with that of [methoxy(phenyl)carbene]pentacarbonylchromium.
