Some trinuclear iron(III) carboxylate complexes

Abstract

Compounds of the type [Fe3(RCO2)6(OH)2]X,xH2O have been studied by magnetic and Mössbauer methods. All the compounds are high-spin and trinuclear in the solid state with the iron atoms in almost equivalent sites.
