Reaction of fluoro-olefins with phenyl(trihalogenomethyl)mercurials

Abstract

Resonance forms of α-fluoro-olefinic linkages are involved in reactions with carbenoids or carbenes; these reactions also exhibit stereoelectronic influences during the formation of polyhalogeno-cyclopropanes.
