Analysis of thermodynamic excess properties of liquid mixtures of argon and krypton

Abstract

The negative excess volumes found by Staveley and co-workers for liquid mixtures of argon and krypton are related to equation-of-state parameters for the pure liquids and the excess free energy according to the theory of solutions developed recently and successfully applied heretofore to mixtures of non-polar polyatomic molecules.
