Addition reactions of heterocyclic compounds. Part XXXVI. Dialkyl acetylenedicarboxylates with 2-substituted benzimidazoles, benzoxazoles and benzothiazoles

Abstract

The structures of the products from 2-benzyl- and 2-benzyl-1-methyl-benzimidazoles, 2-methylbenzoxazole, and alkyl benzoxazole- and benzothiazole-2-pyruvates with dialkyl acetylenedicarboxylates have been deduced from their spectra and chemical properties.
