The mass spectra of derivatives of fourteen flavandiols, four flavan-3-ols, and two flavan-4-ols have been recorded. Evidence is presented that in the methyl ether diacetates of the flavan-3,4-diols a correlation exists between stereochemistry and the intensity of the M+ and M– 60 peaks.
