Cyclic amidines. Part XXI. [14C]Tricycloquinazoline and hydroxytricycloquinazolines

Abstract

The four isomeric hydroxytricycloquinazolines have been synthesised. Hydroxyl radical oxidation of tricycloquinazoline has been shown to yield the 2 and 3-hydroxy-derivatives. [14C]Tricycloquinazoline has been prepared in three steps from sodium [14C]-cyanide.
