Fluorine nuclear magnetic resonance spectra of some polyfluoroaromatic compounds

Abstract

Chemical shifts and coupling constants are reported for twenty-one polyfluorobenzene derivatives. In the cases of pentafluoronitrobenzene and pentafluoroaniline, the relative signs of all the coupling constants have been obtained from the analysis of 60 and 25 MHz spectra. Chemical shifts and coupling constants are discussed on a qualitative basis.
