Acid dissociation constants of the hydrogen phthalate ion in mixtures of ethylene glycol and water at different temperatures, and related thermodynamic quantities
Abstract
The second dissociation constant of phthalic acid in various mixtures of ethylene glycol and water has been measured electrometrically in the temperature range 5–45°, and the related thermodynamic quantities accompanying the dissociation in the respective solvents have been evaluated for 25°.
