Reactions of excited atomic iodine (52P½). Part 2.—Rate parameters for reaction with ethane and propane and the variation of relaxation rates with temperature

Abstract

Rate coefficients were reported for relaxation and reaction of I(52P½), in the 30–90°C temperature range. Activation energies for H-atom abstraction were shown to correlate approximately with ground-state halogen atom reactions.
