Abstract

cis-2-Cyclohexylcyclohexaneacetic acid has been obtained by catalytic hydrogenation of cis-2-phenylcyclohexaneacetic acid and the trans-stereoisomer by degradation of trans-anti-trans-perhydro-9-oxophenanthrene.
