Osmium carbonyl halides and their derivatives. Part I. The infrared spectra of osmium tetracarbonyl halides and related compounds

Abstract

The infrared spectra of Os(CO)4Br2 and Os(CO)4l2 have been recorded and the carbonyl bands assigned through force-constant calculations. Assignments have also been made for some tetracarbonyl halide compounds of Fe, Ru, Mn, Tc, and Re.
