N.m.r. spectra of silicon hydride derivatives. Part 6.—Group 5 trisilyls

Abstract

The proton magnetic resonance spectra of the group 5 trisilyls are reported, including the satellite spectra due to 29Si at natural abundance. A double resonance experiment shows that the two 29SiH coupling constants in P(SiH3)3 have the same sign. The phosphorus spectrum of the latter is described, and J(29SiP) tentatively assigned.
