The absolute configuration of the 2-t-butylcyclohexanols

Abstract

(+)-cis-2-t-Butylcyclohexanol has been prepared and shown to possess the same relative configuration as the (–)–2-ketone, thus enabling the relative and absolute configurations of all the alcohols and ketones to be established.
