The synthesis of some methylated cytidine mono- and pyro-phosphates

Abstract

The conversion of N-methylcytidine and NN-dimethylcytidine into their 5′-phosphates, 5′-pyrophosphates, and mixed 2′(3′)-phosphates is described. 3-Methylcytidine 2′(3′)-phosphates and 5′-pyrophosphate have been prepared from cytidine precursors.
