Stability constants and absorption spectra of the ions Br2Cl and BrCl2

Abstract

Measurements of redox potentials have been used to determine the stability constants of the ions Br2Cl and BrCl2 in aqueous solution at 25°, and these were combined with spectrophotometric data to obtain information about the absorption spectra of these species.
