In-situ forming Fe−N doped metal organic framework@carbon nanotubes/graphene hybrids for a rechargeable Zn−air battery

Abstract

This study presents an in-situ route for producing 3D Fe−N doped metal organic framework@carbon nanotubes/graphene (Fe-MOF@CNTs-G) hybrids as efficient oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) catalysts in both basic and acidic solutions. A rechargeable zinc-air battery assembled with Fe-MOF@CNTs-G exhibits lower charge/discharge overpotential than that of the commercial IrO2 + 20% Pt/C catalyst.
