Direct Electron Transfer in Covalent Triazine Framework for Enhanced Photocatalytic Hydrogen Evolution

Abstract

Inspired from the direct charges transfer in the natural photosystems, herein, we design covalent triazine frameworks (CTFs) with direct electron transfer by constructing minimal amount of -donor-acceptor1-acceptor2- type moeties in the CTFs backbone for photocatalytic hygrogen evolution. By introducing only 0.75% of the acceptor2, the as-prepared CTF exhibited an enhanced hygroden evolution rate of 3215 μmol g-1 h-1.
