Mechanochemical grafting enables fluorescein-sensitized cobalt-based MOF for visible-light-driven hydrogen evolution
Abstract
A rapid mechanochemical approach was developed to covalently graft an isothiocyanate dye onto an amino-functionalized metal–organic framework (MOF), enabling visible-light-driven hydrogen production via dye sensitization. This method offers a greener and more efficient alternative to conventional solution-based dye-labeling techniques that typically require excessive solvents and elevated temperatures.
