Selective photoreduction of diluted CO₂ to CH₄ via topotactic transformation of mixed metal oxides derived from NiAlTi-LDH

Abstract

A TiO₂/NiO/Al₂O₃ hybrid containing Ti³⁺ sites and -OH groups was successfully synthesized through a facile in situ topotactic transformation strategy of NiAlTi-LDH. The optimized sample exhibits a high CH₄ formation rate of 41.34 μmol·g⁻¹·h⁻¹ with nearly 76.8% selectivity in photocatalytic diluted CO₂ conversion.
