Enhancing the moisture stability of halide solid-state electrolytes via graphitic carbon nitride coating: a case study on Li3YCl6†
Abstract
The inherent air instability of halide solid-state electrolytes (HSSEs) remains a critical barrier to their application in solid-state batteries. Herein, the degradation behaviour of Li3YCl6 under controlled atmospheric exposure was investigated in detail. Additionally, a g-C3N4 coating was employed to enhance the moisture resistance of Li3YCl6 HSSEs.
