A LiI doped MoS6 composite for room temperature all-solid-state lithium batteries

Abstract

All-solid-state batteries using transition metal sulfide cathodes have received a lot of attention because of both their high safety and energy density. In this work, a 95MoS6ยท5LiI composite is employed as the active material in all-solid-state batteries, showing improved capacity and cycle life due to the increase in electrochemical reaction kinetics. This work provides a reliable cathode material with high reversible capacity and cyclability for all-solid-state rechargeable batteries.
