The second generation ICP-TOFMS is subject to IIF that does not follow the known mass dependent fractionation laws and is possibly caused by non-mass dependent fractionation and/or multiple fractionation processes with varying contributions.

Determination of the isotopic composition of copper in a certified reference material HICU-1 by MC-ICP-MS using gravimetric isotope mixture calibration

An independent and fully calibrated copper isotope ratio measurement of a high-purity copper certified reference material, HICU-1, was achieved by MC-ICP-MS with use of gravimetric isotope mixture calibration.

Performance of the double-Wien filter of the Neoma MC-ICPMS/MS with an application to copper stable isotope compositions

The new Neoma MC-ICPMS/MS is equipped with a prefiltering system consisting of a double-Wien filter and a collision/reaction cell whose performances are challenged using different combinations of magnetic and electrostatic field values and adjustable slit apertures.

We have developed methods to accurately determine the platinum isotope compositions of iron meteorites. These can be used to investigate processes of planetary formation and evolution, including accretion and core crystallisation.

Determination of carbon isotopes in carbonates (calcite, dolomite, magnesite, and siderite) by femtosecond laser ablation multi-collector ICP-MS

This study reports a method for in situ determination of stable carbon (δ13C‰) isotope compositions for various carbonate matrices including calcite, dolomite, magnesite and siderite by fs-LA-MC-ICP-MS with a precision of 0.37–0.68‰.
