About this collection

The chemistry of imaging, biosensing and diagnostics is the theme of the 2025 Chemical Science symposium, this year chaired by Chemical Science Associate Editor, Professor Thomas Meade. We are also celebrating 15 years of Chemical Science in 2025 and are delighted to introduce a Chemical Science Lectureship session at this year’s event, which will feature our 2025 Chemical Science Lectureship winner, Professor Christopher Chang.

To celebrate the symposium, we have selected relevant articles recently published by our international speakers and committee to showcase their work in RSC journals. We hope you enjoy reading these articles and we look forward to welcoming delegates to London and online in November 2025.
