Structural determination of covalent organic frameworks through diffraction methods
Abstract
As an emerging crystalline porous material constructed from organic building blocks linked by covalent bonds, covalent organic frameworks (COFs) have garnered significant interest due to their well-defined pore structures. In recent years, COFs have experienced rapid development and demonstrated immense potential applications across various fields. However, structural determination of COFs has consistently posed a challenge; researchers still grapple with the difficulty of accurately resolving their structures. In this perspective, we will explore the methods of using diffraction techniques to determine the structure of COFs. By exploring the principles and advantages of different methods, we aim to reveal the potential and prospects of different diffraction methods in resolving the structures of COFs. This will provide insight into the prospects and vision for the structural determination of COFs.
