Temperature-controlled morphology evolution of porphyrin nanostructures at an oil–aqueous interface

Abstract

Various porphyrin nanostructures including tree-, wavy-, honeycomb, ring-, skeleton-, jar-, hollow spherical- and flask-like were facilely fabricated on a hydrophilic substrate at an oil–aqueous interface, while varying the assembly temperature. This is of great significance for the design and creation of the porphyrin structure and its extended applications in optic devices.
