Photoinduced difunctionalization of 2,3-dihydrofuran for the efficient synthesis of 2,3-disubstituted tetrahydrofurans†
Abstract
A highly efficient photoinduced multicomponent difunctionalization of 2,3-dihydrofuran has been developed for the synthesis of 2,3-disubstituted tetrahydrofurans under mild reaction conditions. Compared to the previous procedures, the new regioselectivity of the olefin in 2,3-dihydrofuran is disclosed. Moreover, a wide range of functional groups were tolerated and the corresponding products were obtained in high yields.
