Photobase-catalysed anionic thiol-epoxy click photopolymerization under NIR irradiation: from deep curing to shape memory

Abstract

Several unimolecular photobase generators capable of catalyzing upconversion nanoparticle-assisted anionic thiol-epoxy click photopolymerization are presented. The fabricated polymers, with a curing depth of 11.8 cm, are dual-wavelength responsive and display shape memory function, showing great potential for the construction of smart medical devices and robots.
