Recent Advances in Stability Enhancement of Metal Halide Perovskite Light-emitting Diodes

Abstract

Metal halide perovskites hold tremendous promise for next-generation light-emitting diodes due to their exceptional optoelectronic properties and low-cost fabrication processes. However, their poor operational stability remains a critical barrier to commercialization. This review systematically summarizes intrinsic degradation factors and extrinsic stressors, and reviews stability enhancement strategies across three stages: material synthesis, device fabrication, and device operation. Future research and challenges towards stability enhancement are also reviewed. This work provides a concise guide for advancing durable perovskite light-emitting diodes.
