A chemiluminescent flow-injection ion-sensing system based on the potential-modulated ion fluxes of lucigenin

Abstract

We report here a versatile chemiluminescence sensing platform based on potential-modulated ion fluxes for reading out potentiometric responses of polymeric-membrane–based ion-selective electrodes. With Ca2+ as a model, the proposed sensing strategy exhibits a much higher resolution for detecting small variations in ion activity.
