Abstract

Correction for ‘Rheometry-on-a-chip: measuring the relaxation time of a viscoelastic liquid through particle migration in microchannel flows’ by Francesco Del Giudice et al., Lab Chip, 2015, 15, 783–792.

There was a numerical mistake in calculating the exponent of eqn (7) (second relation) and eqn (10) (second relation), both for the PEO solutions. The correct exponent is 1.54 in eqn (7), and 0.54 in eqn (10). Such errors are also present in the corresponding figures (Fig. 4(a) and 5(a)). The corrections indicated here, however, determine only very minor quantitative differences in the figures. Corrected versions of Fig. 4(a) and 5(a) are given below (Fig. 1).

The Royal Society of Chemistry apologises for these errors and any consequent inconvenience to authors and readers.
