Abstract
Correction for ‘Progress and developments in the turbo Grignard reagent i-PrMgCl·LiCl: a ten-year journey’ by Robert Li-Yuan Bao et al., Chem. Commun., 2015, 51, 6884–6900.
There are two errors in Scheme 32 on page 6987.
The first is that the substituted phenylmagnesium bromide-lithium chloride complex reagent (left) should be substituted pyridylmagenesium bromide-lithium chloride in the synthesis of GSK 269984B in the middle of Scheme 32. The structure should appear as follows:
The second error, in the last row of Scheme 32 is that the structures of the fluoroquinolones should contain a double bond in the quinolone ring. The structures should appear as follows:
