Photocatalytic CO2 reduction to CO catalysed by lanthanide complexes

Abstract

Here we demonstrate the efficient CO2 reduction to CO catalysed by lanthanide-based complexes under light irradiation, by which the highest CO evolution rate can reach 78 ± 8 μmol g−1 h−1 in 4 h. This work provides an economic and environmentally friendly route for CO2 conversion.
