Modulator-free synthesis of highly crystalline Fe-soc-C MOF and its high photocatalytic activity
Abstract
Herein, we have successfully synthesized modulator-free, microporous, highly crystalline cubic (100) phase of Fe-soc-C MOF via a solvothermal process. This material exhibited high BET surface area (889 m2g-1), microporosity, and a low bandgap (2.037 eV). This Fe-MOF showed excellent photocatalytic activity for benzimidazole synthesis and benzylamine coupling reactions under blue light.
