Synthesis of triazole fused tetracyclic spirooxindole derivatives via metal-free Huisgen cycloaddition

Abstract

We herein report an efficient and direct method for synthesizing tetracyclic spirooxindole derivatives from readily accessible N-protected isatins and propargyl bromide as the starting compounds. The simplicity of this method makes it a highly practical and valuable tool for synthetic chemists.
