This review summarizes the advances of gem-F2CPs as fluoroallylic synthons in transition metal-catalysed ring-opening/cross-coupling reactions via single, double or no C-F bond cleavage on the last two years.
This feature article summarizes our efforts towards developing Rh-catalyzed reactions of gem-difluorinated cyclopropanes, briefly discussing the design, selectivity, mechanisms and future research prospects.
Despite the widespread use of well-defined PdII complexes as pre-catalysts for cross-coupling processes, the role of the throw-away ligand is still underexplored.
We report novel N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) ligands with N,C/S,C-chelating thiazole donors that have been structurally and electronically characterized. These ligands show potential for coordination and catalysis studies with various metals.
We report a new class of sterically-unsymmetrical NHC ligands. The evaluation of steric, electronic properties and coordination chemistry is described. Studies of catalytic activity in Ag, Pd and Rh-catalyzed reactions are presented.
