Efficient alcohol fuel oxidation catalyzed by a novel Pt/Se catalyst

Abstract

Selenium spheres decorated with Pt nanoparticles were found to be efficient for alcohol fuel oxidation with the advantages of less carbon monoxide poisoning, efficient electronic interaction and good catalytic stability.
