A temperature-reduced method for the rapid growth of hybrid perovskite single crystals with primary alcohols

Abstract

The blends of primary alcohols and organo-lead trihalide perovskite (OLTP) precursor solutions with the stoichiometry ABX3 (A = MA+ or FA+; B = Pb2+; X = Cl, Br or I) lead to a significant reduction in their retrograde solubilities, which enables a temperature-reduced crystallisation pathway to grow high-quality single crystals.
