Ultramicroporous pillar-layered metal-organic framework for propylene/propane separation
Abstract
Developing propylene/propane separation MOFs is critical for energy-efficient gas purification. We construct a pillar-layered ultramicroporous MOF (Zn-tz-ndc) with precisely controlled pore apertures. Zn-tz-ndc exhibits a separation selectivity of 328 and a propylene uptake of 1.85 mmol g⁻¹ under ambient conditions while maintaining structural stability and reusability.
