BF3 adducts of unprecedented triazaphosphol-5-ylidenes were prepared. These carbenes are the phosphorus congeners of tetrazol-5-ylidenes with abnormal substitution pattern.
The first main group phosphathioethynolates, [LBH2(SCP)] (L = carbene), combine phosphaalkyne, sulfide and hydroborane reactivity to generate complex B,P,S-polyheterocycles, while [LBH2(AsCO)] leads to a rare arsinidene–alkene π complex.
1,3-Dipolar cycloadditions allow the syntheses of a plethora of (poly)-azaphosphole derivatives that allow the access to a large range of phosphorous-containing ring systems.
Main group compounds react with azides leading to diverse N-containing molecules. In this review, the reactions of main group compounds with various azides are summarized, emphatically highlighting their reaction patterns and mechanisms.
New Cu(I) and Ag(I) phosphane complexes supported by β-diketonate ligands were synthesized and evaluated for their antitumor activity by 2D and 3D cell viability studies.
