Rapid co-reduction synthesis of ultrafine multi-principal element alloy nanocatalysts for efficient hydrogen evolution

A rapid co-reduction strategy was developed for the synthesis of ultrafine and composition-tunable multi-principal element alloy nanoparticles. The as-synthesized RuPtIrSnCu/C catalyst showed improved hydrogen evolution reaction performance.

3,5-Dinitro-1-(3,3,3-trifluoropropyl)-1H-pyrazol-4-amine as an insensitive and thermostable energetic melt-castable material

A trifluoropropyl functionalized energetic compound, TFDNPA, was designed and synthesized, which exhibited potential for TNT replacement as an energetic melt-castable carrier in aluminized explosive formulation.

A Ni-added polyoxometalate: synthesis, structure and catalytic performance

Due to “lacunary-directed” effect, two SiW10 fragments induce Ni2+ ions and further react H3BO3 to form [{BO(OH)2}2Ni6(OH)(H2O)6(SiW10O37)2]9− cluster, catalyzing Knoevenagel condensation efficiently.
