Abstract

Chiral 2,2′-methylene-bis[(4S[hair space])-4-tert-butyl-2-oxazoline] reacts with Ln[N(SiHMe2)2]3(thf[hair space])2 (Ln = Y, La) via an extended silylamide route to yield the first mono- and bis-(bisoxazolinato) complexes, potentially relevant to enantioselective catalysis.
