Fluorescent metal–organic framework Zn-TCPP for sentinel lymph node imaging in vivo

Abstract

Tumor drainage lymph node imaging during oncological surgery is crucial to reduce recurrence. The fluorescent metal–organic framework Zn-TCPP was prepared by carrying out a solution reaction between tetra(4-carboxyphenyl)porphine and Zn(BDC)(H2O)2. Zn-TCPP migrated into sentinel lymph nodes quickly and could be identified by the naked eye under ultraviolet excitation.
