Four new Ni(II) coordination polymers (1–4) have been successfully synthesized using 5,5′-(ethene-1,2-diyl)diisophthalic acid (H4L) and different N-donor ancillary ligands. Furthermore, the magnetic properties of 1–4 were investigated in detail.
This study suggests that lowering the cost of electrolytic hydrogen obtained in water alkaline electrolyzers requires to develop new nanostructured or single-atom Ni-based catalysts and newly shaped electrodes obtained via 3D printing.
Synthesis and characterization of new Ni(II)/Zn(II) complexes based on asymmetric salophen-type ligands as potent anticancer agents against to MG-63, HCT-116 and MDA-MB-231 cell lines.
The cyclonickelated dimers react with hydroxylamines and TEMPO˙ to give the corresponding κO-TEMPOH adducts. Treatment of the latter with MeCN, morpholine, or imidazole displaces the TEMPOH moiety, whereas AgOC(O)CF3 displaces Br.
Ethylene copolymerization with short-chain alkenols was achieved using binuclear Ni complexes, affording hydroxy-functionalized polyethylenes with activities up to 592 kg (mol cat h atm)−1.
