Stereoisomers of metal–organic dimers induced by the steric constraint of dissymmetric terpyridine ligands

Abstract

Herein, we report a novel molecular design strategy for constructing stereoisomers based on dissymmetric modified ligands and closely packed dimeric structures. X-ray analyses reveal that different substituents have an important effect on stereoisomers and can provide various driving forces to realize the adjustment of crystal packing.
