A magnesium phosphite-oxalate with 16-MR channels showing ultrahigh proton conductivity†
Abstract
An ultrahigh proton-conductive magnesium phosphite-oxalate showing 16-MR channels, formulated as [Mg2(H2O)(HPO3)(C2O4)2](C6N2H16)0.5·(C2NH8)·H2O (1), was prepared under solvothermal conditions. The optimum proton conductivity is up to 1.15 × 10−2 S cm−1 at 75 °C and 98% RH (relative humidity), which exceeds the conductivity of all metal phosphate/phosphite-oxalate materials.
